April 21 Getting Back On Track: Pursuing Education. City of Greensboro CSW Event

Did you know that only 59% of people that enroll in college actually complete a degree? Or that the median yearly income gap between high school and college graduates is around $17,500? If you have ever wanted to get your degree, but don’t know how to get started, this program is for you!

Sponsored by the Greensboro Commission on the Status of Women, this program is free, open to the public, and features local resources to help adults get back on track and finish their degree. Register online or by calling the Human Relations Department at 336-373-2038.

Laura Tew, Public Policy Chair and salary negotiation skills outreach coordinator, will speak on behalf of AAUW Greensboro. Jason Caldwell, Executive of Director of DegreesMatter!, will share insights from the efforts and experiences of DegreesMatter! in working with Guilford County residents who wish to pursue incomplete degrees.
