You Are Invited – Monday, May 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Odell Auditorium on the campus of Greensboro College there will be a free showing of the important movie, A Backpack Full of Cash (1000 W. Market Street, Greensboro). Sponsored by the Education Roundtable of the League of Women Voters of the Piedmont Triad (LWVPT), the film shows the effect on public school children of giving tax payer money for vouchers and to support charter schools. Following the movie, there will be a three-member panel moderated by Yvonne Brannon, Executive Director of Public Schools First. Panel members will make brief comments/reactions to the movie with questions/comments also from the audience.
