Peggy Knox writes: “We will meet on Saturday, January 21, for our annual soup luncheon. In case of bad weather, our backup date is Saturday, January 28. We are delighted to have Michelle Kennedy as our speaker. Michelle is the director of IRC, Interactive Resource Center. Michelle was the 2016 Greensboro News and Record’s Woman of the Year. The IRC is an innovative day center for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. A variety of services are offered including mail service, job skill classes, medical clinic availability, storage lockers and much more.”
