Two AAUW Teen Near Peer Mentors Earn President’s Volunteer Service Awards:
We are proud to announce our first two President’s Volunteer Service Awardees nominated by AAUW Greensboro for their participation as Teen Near Peer Mentors for STEM Education for Girls. Janiya Shah, photo on left, 2024 Silver awardee, is a freshman at Southwest High School. Jasmeh Gill, photo on right, 2023 and 2024 Gold awardee, is a junior at Grimsley High School. Congratulations!!
2025 NEW posting for events and registration
- January 26th Benjamin Branch Library AAUW Teen Near Peer Mentors present hand-on programs for youth. This is a free, drop-in event between 2:00 and 5:00. Learn basics of robotics and electronics design, build and coding. No registration required.
- Saturday April 5th 2025 9 to 2 Find Your STEM conference for 6th through 12th grade students at UNCG Nursing and Instruction Building, https://greensboro-nc.aauw.net/2024/12/26/find-your-stem-april-5-2025/ Pre-Registration Required Attendance is capacity limited.
