If you are delayed in dropping off or picking up, please let us know at the phone and text numbers above. If anyone other than the registered parent is picking up, you MUST let us know.
Girls MUST wear their name tags at all times – we plan to pick the name tags up each afternoon and pass them out each morning.
Dress: Girls should dress comfortably. The plenary lecture hall can be quite chilly, although girls will not be in there for very long. T-shirts will be given out on Thursday afternoon. Girls are expected to wear their camp shirts for the class photo on Friday afternoon.
Food: Girls may bring bottled water and snacks. Girls will have lunch in the UNCG Fountain View Dining Hall each day at 11:45. This full service lunch is included with their registration at no additional cost and provides a wide variety of foods. Please instruct your daughters on their food restrictions so that they make healthy selections. Parents/guardians may join the girls for lunch on Friday by paying at the dining hall cash register.
Monday July 29 – check-in 7:45 to 8:00 at UNCG. Signage will direct you to the check-in station on Stirling Street. Friday August 2 – It is our tradition to invite parents to join your daughters for lunch at 11:45 and attend your daughter’s camp project team presentation from 12:30 to 2:00 in the Jackson Library. Your daughter will be presenting in one of two areas on the main entrance and on the lower level. Volunteers will be stationed at the Stirling Street Library entrance to show you to your daughter’s presentation room. All parents are also invited to the closing session starting at 2:30 in the Jarrell Lecture Hall. The videos of one team from each of our 4 project tracks will be shown during the closing session, and the camp robotics team provide a demonstration.
