Asynchronous Coding Update: November 2022

From program coordinator, Roma Desai, senior at Early College at Guilford

I hope you are doing well! I wanted to share another module in the asynchronous sessions. This module (#3) introduces students to data analysis principles and teaches them data analysis and visualization using google sheets. The activity associated with this module is collecting and analyzing your data from paper plane flight distances. Please email me this activity when you have completed it.

I will send module completion certificates this week to those who have completed modules 1 and 2. If you are currently in the process of completing these modules and need any help, please let me know and I would be happy to set up a zoom call.

Also, we are planning a (virtual) check-in meeting in which your students can share their progress (explain their websites and apps) with their peers. The tentative date for this 1-hour meeting is Saturday, 10th from 3-4pm. Please let me know if you have a conflict and I can adjust the date/time accordingly. I will follow-up with more details and a zoom link.
