COVID PRECAUTIONS:

The relaunch of AAUW Greensboro Triad Tech Savvy was anticipated as a post-pandemic event. Instead, the COVID19 challenges continue and now we are learning to avoid this virus by controlling our activities and our behaviors. We hope that all attendees who are eligible have gotten their vaccinations; however, we will not be checking vaccine status. We will be following all local, state, and federal guidelines, including:

  • Properly worn masks are required to cover upper respiratory mouth and nose.
  • Social distancing in classrooms, at tabletop and outdoor displays and demonstrations.
  • Use of personal laptops by students and limited use of shared equipment
  • Krispy Kreme donuts and coffee for adults; packaged snacks for students; served by gloved and masked volunteers.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation. Those who are experiencing symptoms (fever, coughing) as well as those who have not cleared quarantine following exposure to or positive testing for COVID are asked not to attend. We are anxious to provide safe and pleasant, small scale in-person events when facilities such as the High Point Library make that possible. As guests of the Library, please be respectful and compliant to these and all COVID19 precautions.
